Project “AS Võru Empak Productivity Development”

AS Võru Empak has received support for 2022 within the framework of the “Võrumaa Partnership Association Development Strategy 2014-2022”. in entrepreneurship measure 2, sub-measure “Development of small enterprises” 2.2 to the project “Development of productivity of AS Võru Empak”.

Objective and results of the project:

Production and operating costs are optimized, production processes and the supporting environment ensure better functioning of the company. By replacing the new heating system and the lights of the entire production complex, the development of more energy-efficient and efficient productivity will continue. Reducing operational costs and guaranteed supply of production buildings with thermal energy during the cold season help to reduce the costs of electricity used in furniture production, as well as ensure working rooms with the right temperature, better working conditions for employees and better, safer storage conditions for production materials.


Project “Partial renovation of the roof of the production building”

AS Võru Empak has received support in 2018 within the framework of the “Võrumaa Partnership Association Development Strategy 2014-2020”. in entrepreneurship measure 2, sub-measure “Development of small production enterprise” 2.2 for the project “Partial renovation of the roof of the production building”.

Objective and results of the project:

In order to extend the useful life of the production building, preserve the building structures and improve resistance to weather conditions, as well as to improve the working environment of the employees and the storage conditions of the materials, the roof of the production building is partially renovated. As a result of the renovation works, the useful life of the building is extended, the indoor climate of the building is significantly improved, which ensures better storage conditions for production materials and working conditions for employees. In addition, the right conditions will be created for the continuation of the interior finishing works of the building and for the gradual renewal of the entire production building.


Project “Construction of solar panel base frame and grid connection”

AS Võru Empak has received 2020 within the framework of the “Võrumaa Partnership Association Development Strategy 2014-2020”. in entrepreneurship measure 2, sub-measure 2.2 “Development of small production enterprises” support for the project “Construction of the base frame of solar panels and grid connection”

Objective and results of the project:

The goal of the project is to introduce renewable energy to optimize production costs. As a result of the construction of the base frame, conditions have been created for the installation of solar panels and connection to the grid. The company’s expenses on production generally decrease, renewable energy is used, the energy supply system is modernized, production becomes more economical and environmentally friendly.


Project “Partial renovation of the production building”

AS Võru Empak has received the 2019 in entrepreneurship measure 2, sub-measure 2.2 “Development of Small Manufacturing Enterprises” for the project “Partial renovation of the production building”

Objective and results of the project:

In order to extend the useful life of the production building, preserve building structures and improve resistance to weather conditions, as well as to improve the working environment of employees and the storage conditions of materials, the production building is partially renovated. During the renovation works, the roof of the building is partially renewed, the facade of the building is partially insulated, and the windows and doors of the building are replaced. As a result of the project, the useful life of the building will be extended, the indoor climate of the building will improve significantly, which in turn ensures better storage conditions for production materials and working conditions for employees. In addition, the heating costs of the building will be reduced and the necessary conditions will be created for the continuation of interior finishing works and for the gradual renewal of the entire production building.
